C02 Emissions

C02 Emissions

Overview

So what is my fleet or my own vehicles emissions or if I am thinking of replacing my vehicle what is the new Co2 emission going to be?

Questions you may ask:

  • How much C02 does my vehicle produce?
  • How can I find the Co2 for a car I am wanting to Buy?
  • Where can I get Co2 rates for a used car?

How does it work?

The Vehicle Certification Agency is part of the Government and is responsible for detailing fuel and emission rates which determines the VED you should pay.

The HMRC is responsible for BIK purposes and the taxable BIK you pay dependent on your emissions.
