Phantom Roadworks
Roadworks cost the economy £4billion a year and cause considerable anquish for us motorists. Chris Grayling Transport minister thinks these could be halved.
How we ask?. Well by charging by the hour at peak periods and avoiding any charges at night and weekends. Simple you may think but after a trial in Kent the results have been impressive. So watch this space, end of those peak time roadworks with no one working may be upon us soon. 2019 we are told.
